Hi Guys and gals.

Hope everybody is doing good. Well, it's getting to be the time of the year for fishing to get going, as soon as we get rid of this cold weather. What a long drought this was. The officers have been meeting and were putting together a tournament for May 7,8,9..We are going to have a GUARANTEED Payout of 3600.00. Species will be Grouper,Redfish,Trout,Kingfish.First and second place payouts. Held at Ollie Oyster's on Clark st. Hudson Fl.Captains meeting friday night as usual,weigh ins Saturday and Sunday Sunday 12 to 4 pm.Cobia will be a side bet for the fishermen.GUARANTEED Payout should attract more anglers.Looking forward to having a great tournament.Hope everyone attends the next meeting.

 

Next meeting will be Tues. March 2,2010.We will have a 50/50,and a table raffle.Skinny's, rt. 19,Hudson. 7 pm.Looking for a good turnout. We have picked up new members every meeting so far.Sorry for the delay on putting the pics of new members in Webb site, but had a problem with the camera.Card was full and didn't realize it. Sorry.

 

We are entered into the Chasco Fiesta street parade with Bob Matson pulling his boat on March 20, 2010,start time 1:00 pm.Newport Richey. Also Chasco Boat Parade,March 27,2010,Saturday,!pm.Capt. Hank's boat on Pithlachascotee River.Both boats will be decorated by the decorating committee headed by Paula and Don Perry and volunteers from the Port Hudson Fishing Club.They did a great job last year,we got 2 nd. place in the boat parade.Thank you for a fine job.We are all signed up and just waiting for the ID. stickers for the boats.Looking for members to participate as riders on the boats for the parades.Should prove to be a good time.

 

Now that we are going to resume fishing don't forget to get pics of your fish along with a story of your catch to be presented to Vice Pres. Andy Hemple so he can put your catch on the Webb site.By the way Andy is doing fine after his surgery which he don't want me to mention.So I will probably get some flak over this.haha.Glad everything turned out fine Andy.

 

By the way we will schedule the fish fry soon, Skinny's is all set up with his fryers and gave me the word we could have it anytime. he's ready to go.We will announce the fish fry date at the next meeting.All members should attend, IT'S FREE.
