Red Fish Wall Plaque #6

Chaz Corradini Little Bit of Tail Chaz, with his boat, Little Bit of Tail, fishing with his grandfather John Work, was our youngest fisherman. When talking to Chaz about his boat name he said "If you ever saw the Red fish tailing you would know where the name came from". He showed such a great attitude and fished so hard that donated one of their great fish wall hanging masterpieces to us to present it to Chaz. So Chaz, keep up the fishing fundamentals that you already have mastered and keep adding to your knowledge and I think you will eventually walk away with any tournament you want. Good Luck to you and your future in fishing. All of us at Port Hudson Fishing Club are looking forward to you, and your family joining our club.

50/50 Drawings

David Steiner won both 50/50 drawings. The one on Friday night at the Captains Meeting and the one Sunday after the prizes were given out. David's Red Fish weighted 4.45 just missing third place in that division by .05 pounds. I think the 50/50's gave you more cash. I thank you and everyone involved in the tournament for all the great sportmanship that was shown. Some of the other drawing winners were John Fischbach, David Johnson, Mar Probost, Shane Mitchell, Mike Burrows, Shane Mitchell again, Diane, Dave, and again Shane, then Brandon, Frank and Mike. I think everyone had a great time at the tournament. Of course those who entered had a fabulous time even with the ruff waters coming in for the final weigh in. Those who were on shore anticipating who was going to be the first boat in each day, then watching the measure board and the scales for the results, to see if it was close to what they were guessing. Those that were left on shore at Sully's ate and drank, discussed who was going to be first and awaited the first sounds of here comes a boat. That told us who was watching the canal the closest. Then the discussions returned to the best fishing places, what would be caught and what wouldn't. Everone made new friends and got reacquainted with the old friends. The talk ended with the next tournament plans, and we'll see you all then.
